Inventory Control Specialist

Role Summary Reporting to the Production Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Inventory Control to ensure financial accuracy and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Develop and manage inventory counting and processes to maintain 100% inventory accuracy. Develop policies and procedures surrounding the maintenance or proper inventory levels. Responsible for Bill of Material maintenance of receivables. Create Work Orders for all projects through the production process. Invoicing and close out of project materials. Forecasting, procurement, and monitoring of receiving of all LJ Relay materials to support production demands. Coordinate shipping activities and logistical execution of product deliveries. Coordinate inventory counts with the assistance of the Material Coordinators. Prepare inventory reconciliations and report findings to management. Investigate all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner. Work closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow of inventory. Analyze inventory trends and report replenishment needs and obsolete or slow‑moving inventory to management. Oversee all inventory transfers from start to finish, including internal inventory moves as well as inventory moving off‑site. Operate pallet jacks to lift and transport material. Other duties as assigned. Education: Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Organization Skills: Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills; ability to work with minimal supervision. Cross‑functional skills: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills; strong customer focus. Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to see, sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; ability to lift, move, carry up to 50 lbs.; ability to stand for 8 hours a day; ability to climb stairs and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel. Driver’s license: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in inventory control. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
