We support those receiving services through the Home and Community Based (HCBS) Long Term Services and Supports Medicaid Waivers. The Residential Program serves individuals in whichever setting is best suited to their needs, living independently, with family members, or in a state-qualified Host Home. Status: Part- time. This position offers the opportunity to earn up to $98,000 per year while working part-time (up to 29 hours per week). Our flexible scheduling model allows BCBAs to build their schedule around their availability while maintaining a healthy work–life balance. This role is ideal for clinicians looking to make a meaningful impact working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities without the demands of a traditional full-time caseload Compensation and Benefits: $60.00- $65.00 per hour Retirement Plan Milage Reimbursement Paid Sick Time Available hours: Monday- Friday 9:00am-12:00 (can be flexible). More hours might be added (up to 29 hours per week) depending on candidate's availability Reports to: Executive Director Position Purpose: The BCBA provides evidence-based support to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with skill acquisition in the areas of personal growth, social emotional needs, communication, and adaptive skill development. The BCBA works within the Interdisciplinary team to consult on behavior intervention strategies to ensure a comprehensive approach to individual success. Job Functions: Collect data and create individualized treatment plans for each client. Provide direct oversight and supervision in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies, ensuring they are applied consistently. Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families Complete all billable hours assigned. Supervise and consult with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), line staff, and other caregivers involved in direct client care. Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties Maintain client specific information using Spectrum’s online tools. Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Education Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field is required Certifications Current BCBA certification Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel in the Denver metro and surrounding areas Computer-literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Possess a coachable and positive attitude Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations Capability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure while working with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors Punctual Detail oriented and organized Strong writing and oral communication skills Prioritize workload and meet deadlines Set boundaries and always maintain professionalism Handle confidential information with discretion Display a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn along with a cooperative approach to problem solving Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services background checks required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at the computer Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 3-4 hours Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges, including physical guidance during interventions. (pushing wheelchair to additional location if needed) Drive to and from meetings and shifts in the community when required Must be able to stop, bend and reach overhead Ability to perform other physical tasks associated with direct therapy, including positioning clients, moving adaptive equipment, and setting up treatment spaces.
