Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago, Illinois area office! Responsibilities:
Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago, Illinois area office! Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering documents (plans, specifications, models, cost estimates, project schedules)
- Provide project management on water/wastewater systems and related components
- Work on design project (water/sanitary mains, pumping stations, storage tanks/reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment plants, and well water systems)
- Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare estimates, schedules, and change order for public improvements
- Construction administration duties and periodic inspection during construction of water/wastewater facilities
- Attend municipal board meetings
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT or PE license preferred
- 5+ years of experience
- Municipal water and/or wastewater systems design experience (modeling creation, calibration, and evaluation)
- Knowledge of IEPA, IDEM, and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago permitting processes preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel)
