LPN Nephrology

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care in a nephrology setting, performing patient assessments, administering injections, taking vitals, and assisting with patient flow. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong communication, adaptability, and reliability. The LPN will float to other offices as needed and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities:

• Room patients and take vital signs accurately.
• Administer injections and perform other nursing procedures as directed.
• Assist with patient flow and support clinical staff in daily tasks.
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records using EPIC and ambulatory systems.
• Float to other office locations as required to support staffing needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
• Adhere to all clinical and safety protocols within the nephrology unit.

• Current LPN license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or ambulatory setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel to other office locations.

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Previous ambulatory care or nephrology experience.
• Adaptability and flexibility to float between multiple office sites.

• Floating to other offices is required.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with others.
• Work environment is fast-paced and requires strong multitasking skills.
• Locals accepted at a reduced rate if travel distance is less than 75 miles.

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• No weekend shifts required.
