Packer (1st Shift) Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - General Labor Employment Type: Full Time Location: Greencastle, PA Reporting To: Tim Kauffman Compensation: $16.30 / hour Description Packer (1st shift) is responsible for packing boxes of product according to specified numbers per box; Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped; May use gages and scales to inspect the product; Make labels and assure proper labeling with correct item, quantity, description, etc.; Ensure all boxes have been sealed and that the appropriate label has been applied; Prepare pallets of box product to be sent to shipping. How You Will Help Pack boxes of product according to specified numbers per box Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped What You Will Bring Requires constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day) Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day) Repetitive reaching at and above shoulder level and bending at the waist Ability to lift boxes and product weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, stoop and twist Ability to utilize a computer Ability to read scales and gages Ability to detect defects in product Job Benefits Pay rate $16.30 per hour Shift Hours: Monday - Friday; 6:00am to 2:30pm Health benefits, 401k and Paid Holidays Paid Personal Time and Vacation after 90 days #J-18808-Ljbffr
