Staff Accountant

Industrial Belting & Transmission is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, assisting AR collections, reconciling accounts including AP and AR, assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports, maintaining general ledger accounts, supporting Senior Accounting staff in various projects as needed, assisting with sales tax compliance in multiple states, answering the phones and directing calls to the correct person/department, answering the door and facilitating visitor sign-in, assisting with month-end and year-end accounting duties, and performing various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience in Accounting, a solid understanding of basic Accounting principles, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with Accounting software is preferred, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work on-site; Monday - Friday and knowledge with supplier rebates.
