Responsibilities AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST , you will calibrate, inspect, and test all respiratory care equipment to ensure proper operating condition. You will disassemble, clean, and sterilize equipment for reuse according to prescribed procedures. You will administer respiratory care services to include all services necessary to those offered by the department. You will coordinate Respiratory Technicians to ensure proper utilization of staff and make daily work assignments in a fair and equitable manner. You will be responsible for the quality of patient care delivered and develop, recommend, and implement new procedures, techniques, and equipment.
