Administrative Assistant (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers Anticipated End Date: 2026-07-25 Location: 8434 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114 Shift: Days. Clinic is open Monday‑Friday. PRN RN will cover sick call‑offs, PTO coverage, and higher census days as needed. Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full‑time to enable consistent face‑to‑face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. Candidates not within reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. Responsibilities Oversee staff and processes for patient check‑in, ensuring charts are pulled, demographics are updated, and current forms are used. Listen and respond to patient and/or family member concerns. Respond to patient questions and complaints, routing issues to appropriate personnel. Analyze daily administrative operations and utilization of resources. Assist in Medic user issues. Ensure proper cash controls and adherence to policy and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Completion of a Tuberculosis test (required for Carelon Health business units). Preferred Skills Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) preferred (not required). 1+ years of medical front office experience. Prior authorization experience. Inbound call experience. Customer service experience in a medical or professional setting.
