Slate Valley Center is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) in Granville, NY.

DUTIES:
/n
/n- Supervises all nursing staff in the facility/n- Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure/n- Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff/n- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staffs skills remain current/n- Overseeing nursing employee conduct/n- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility/n- Assessing the health needs of each resident/n

REQUIREMENTS:
/n
/n- Current State RN license required/n- Minimum 5 years of experience in long term care/n- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience/n- Evidence of strong supervision & leadership skills/n
