Mammoth Disposal (Waste Connections) is hiring a CDL Class B Driver for local, home-daily routes in Mammoth Lakes, CA . This role is based in Mammoth, with occasional work out of our Bishop location.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday , with occasional Saturdays
• Start time: 5:30 AM
• 8-10 hour shifts (route-based)

What You'll Do

• Operate garbage trucks on local routes
• Complete routes efficiently and safely (residential & commercial stops)
• Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Handle physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50+ lbs)
• Provide professional customer service in local communities

Work Environment

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes
• Clean driving record
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Basic English communication skills

• Support as needed in Bishop, CA
• Shuttle transportation provided between Bishop and Mammoth
