Registered Nurse - FloatStart Date: 08/01/2022 End Date: 10/30/2022 Status: Open Total Positions: 1 Skill: RN Medical / Surgical Duration: 13 - Weeks Location: OH - COSHOCTON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (CROH) Shift Start Time: 19:00:00 Shift End Time: 07:30:00Description: Float nurse - Units Med Surg, ED and ICU The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical, ED and ICU Units. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.Education, Experience and Training 1. Current and valid Ohio State RN license BLS (AHS) certification upon hire and maintain current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current PALS (AHA) certification and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current NRP (AHA) certification 90 days upon hire and maintain current Previous Acute Care hospital, E.R. setting and/or Critical Care experience preferred Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred Ventilator Management experience preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredNursing Teaching Education Planning Science Training Management
