Our office serves Elmhurst, Arlington Heights, Downers Grove, La Grange, Oak Park and the surrounding areas, and this position may require travel to those areas.

Starting Pay $18.00/hr

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

• Communicating with office and family
• Assisting with bathing, showering, toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Assisting with dressing & grooming
• Transfer assistance
• Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
• Provide transportation for or with client to grocery store, errands, doctor visits etc

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation
• Driver's license and valid auto insurance (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of general safety and sanitary practices
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, stand and lift up to 25lbs

Comfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with previous experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
