Farmers Market Vendor

Markets Tuesday: Napa market (May – October) Thursday: San Rafael Civic Center market (year‑round) Saturday: Healdsburg market (May – December) – optional Primary Responsibilities Drive a box truck from the farm to market; a work partner will meet to assist with set‑up. Work with fellow market staffer to set up the stand before market starts; create and maintain a visually appealing display that follows the Front Porch Farm brand and standards. Provide excellent customer service and communication. Knowledgeably and enthusiastically discuss our products and farming practices with the public; educate customers about uses of produce and share cooking tips. Conduct accurate sales transactions. Keep market supplies organized and maintained (containers, signs, tables, tents, etc.) during set‑up, market, and breakdown. Return to the farm to unpack the truck, returning unsold items, cash box, and sales equipment to proper locations. Schedule Tuesday: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Thursday: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Saturday (optional): 6:30 am – 1:30 pm Ideal Candidate Great communicator who delivers excellent customer service. Enthusiastic about organic agriculture and interested in interacting with the public about food and farming. Enjoys working hard; can comfortably and safely lift and carry 50 lbs. Has good awareness of food safety guidelines. Detail‑oriented and organized. Has experience driving large vehicles and a clean driving record. Farming and/or cooking experience is a plus.
