Closed-Door Pharmacy | Charlotte, NC | Career Growth Opportunity

Looking to take the next step in your pharmacy career? We're hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join a growing closed-door pharmacy operation in Charlotte.

This opportunity is ideal for a technician who enjoys a hands-on, active work environment and is interested in expanding their experience beyond a traditional retail pharmacy setting. In addition to supporting pharmacy operations, this position will assist with specialized pharmacy equipment and machinery, so we're looking for someone comfortable with walking, lifting, and staying active throughout the workday.

Candidates must be PTCB certified and licensed/registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP).

What You'll Do

• Process and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification
• Accurately select, count, label, and package medications
• Assist with the operation of pharmacy machinery and automated dispensing equipment
• Support prescription fulfillment, packing, and shipping operations
• Maintain inventory levels and replenish pharmacy supplies
• Perform tasks that involve walking, standing, and lifting throughout the workday
• Follow pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow technicians to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Current PTCB certification required
• Current North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) registration/licensure required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in retail, hospital, long-term care, compounding, or a similar pharmacy setting
• Comfortable working with pharmacy equipment and machinery
• Enjoys a hands-on role and being active throughout the workday
• Ability to perform lifting and walking as part of regular job responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Flexibility with scheduling and overtime as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
