Data Analyst/Engineer

Data Analyst/EngineerMcCoy Group is looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer to join our IT team!If you're someone who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and building solutions from the ground up, this could be a great opportunity to make an impact.This role will take an end-to-end approach from data ingestion to transformation to reporting and analytic. You'll develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data transformation processes, and enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and AI-ready data.We're looking for someone who is comfortable owning the process, working independently, and figuring out how data moves from source systems to a finished, usable solution. Strong SQL skills are important to this role. Experience with Power BI and data analysis is valuable, but we're willing to provide support and training to the right person as they develop in those areas.What You'll DoBuild and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelinesIntegrate data from databases, APIs, on-premises systems, and third-party platformsDevelop and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environmentsSupport Power BI reporting, analytics, and AI initiativesEnsure data is secure, reliable, accurate, and properly governedTroubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performanceFollow best practices for coding, documentation, version control, and deploymentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of Data Engineering experienceHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based platformsStrong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousingExperience with SQL, Python and/or Spark, Power BI, APIs, Git/DevOps, and data integrationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work with confidential informationAbility to travel when neededTruck Country® / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star is one of the largest Freightliner and Western Star dealership groups in the United States, serving customers across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
