As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Integrity in Elmont, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service while reporting concerns. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and applicable stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
