Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Port Richey, FL, supporting the daily operations of a retail environment connected to Suncoast Housing Connections’ community-focused mission. This position assists with opening and closing procedures, manages store merchandising and inventory, and helps ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. The role involves supervising and coaching team members, monitoring store performance, and supporting initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and engagement. The Assistant Store Manager also helps maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment, collaborates with leadership on sales and outreach goals, and provides high-quality customer service aligned with the organization’s values. Qualifications Customer-focused skills: ability to drive Customer Satisfaction and deliver consistent, high-quality Customer Service. Communication and teamwork: strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively. Operational and leadership skills: experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, handling daily operations, and supporting sales and performance goals. Risk and loss control: familiarity with Retail Loss Prevention practices to help safeguard inventory and maintain a secure store environment. Additional beneficial qualifications: prior experience in retail or community-focused organizations; basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems; strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks; high school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in business or social services are a plus). #J-18808-Ljbffr
