Compensation: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Abilene, TX (Downtown – 244 Pine St)

Schedule: Morning / Mid-day Shifts (Tuesday – Saturday)

We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Part-Time Baker to join our kitchen team. If you are passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and love working in a clean, fast-paced commercial kitchen, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

• Scratch Baking & Prep: Prepare doughs, pie crusts, fillings, and fresh baked goods daily following exact recipe standards and presentation guidelines.
• Batch Production: Measure, mix, shape, and bake items efficiently to meet daily inventory demands and order schedules.
• Quality & Consistency: Inspect finished products to ensure high standards of flavor, appearance, and quality control before serving.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain clean workstations, scrub tools/utensils, sanitize surface areas, and strictly follow ServSafe and local food safety guidelines.
• Inventory & Restocking: Track ingredient levels, monitor stock freshness, and assist with receiving kitchen supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior professional baking, pastry, or restaurant kitchen experience required.
• Licensing: Active Texas Food Handler Certification or Food Manager License required upon hire.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for 5–8 hours and lift/maneuver flour sacks and baking pans weighing up to 40 lbs .
• Attributes: Strong time management, high attention to detail, punctual attendance, and a collaborative team attitude.
