Job Role:- Oracle Database DeveloperJob Location:- Irving, TexasJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team As a Senior Oracle Developer you will be responsible for designing developing testing and implementing Oraclebased solutions to meet our business needs You will work closely with our crossfunctional teams to analyze requirements develop technical specifications and deliver high quality solutionsResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain Oracle an Oracle database application including stored procedures triggers functions and packagesPerform data modelling schema design and database optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalabilityCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specificationsDevelop and maintain data integration processes between Oracle and other systemsTroubleshoot and debug issuesConduct code reviews performance tuning and optimization to ensure code quality and efficiencyStay up to date with the latest Oracle technologies and practices and make recommendations for continuous improvementMentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as neededOperate with limited supervisionRequirementsBachelors degree in computer science information technology or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle developer with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutionsProficiency in Oracle PLSQL programming with experience of Oracle database performance tuning and optimizationExperience with Oracle database administration tasks such as backup and recovery user management and securityStrong understanding and advocate of good database design principles data modelling techniques and relational database conceptsExperience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologiesExcellent problemsolving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to affectively collaborate with cross functional teamsExperience with Git and continuous integration continuous deployment pipelinesMandatory experience:-total years of experience in PLSQL + performance tuning. Preferred experience 7+ yearsOracle version used in the most recent project (Oracle 19c preferred or higher)Test handling large datasets/ tables(50 GB+), ask any tables they remember and the size of the table, and the information that is stored in table relevant to their project domain Test experience on table partitioning strategies - Range partitioning, list partitioning and Hash partitioning. Ask why and how they used these strategies in the project, must explain with used case and expect confident answersTest Performance tuning experience with actual hands-on. Candidate must explain using STAR methods, no genetic answers/ solutions expected. Expect candidates talk about Oracle Optimizer, EXPLAIN plans and AWR/ ASHTest PLSQL experience with processing large datasets using BULK COLLECT and FORALL. Candidate must explain picking a scenario in project where he used these skills.Test experience on Advanced SQL using Window functions. Candidate talks about Row_number, Rank, Dense_Rank, Lag and Lead windows functions confidently .Nice to haveOracle CertificationKnowledge of other database technologies eg MongoDB SQL ServerExperience of using Tableau with OracleStarburst or other Data virtualization technology experiencePython Development experienceExperience using MagicDraw
