Position: Managed Services Consultant – Outside B2B Sales Rep

Company X is a leader in creating customized office technology, I.T. and print management solutions. Company X is looking for a Managed Services Consultant to join their outside sales team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Utilize a consultative sales approach to each customer in order develop a solution unique to that customer and their unique needs.
• Proactive in working with both C-level customers and IT personnel in delivering creative solutions to customers’ document and IT management needs.
• Manage the complete sales cycle by making appointments, conducting discovery meetings, proposal presentations, account reviews and close sales.
• Build rapport by presenting effectively, handling objections, and managing accounts successfully.
• Market the latest technology. You will be presenting the latest in office and IT technology to C-level buyers.
• Be part of a successful sales team. A tenured sales team, support specialists, and committed leadership will support your efforts.
• Sell value by consulting with your customers to help them envision how technology can save them money and/or increase productivity with their unique needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with 2+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience required.
• 1-3 years of outside sales experience (B2B)
• Growing existing client accounts and developing net new accounts. At least 65% of goal will be based on new accounts.
• Responsible for specific and measurable prospecting activities as you grow your base of business and prospects.
• Strong experience with MS office
• Experience working with IT networks is a strong plus
• Able to identify IT initiatives and opportunities by asking strategic, open-ended business questions.
• People skills: such as communication skills, active listening and customer care
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment that is not business vertically specific
