CAD/BIM Technician


Our client who is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a full-time position available for a highly motivated CAD/BIM technician.

Responsibilities:

• Provide CAD drafting and BIM modeling to support deliverables on projects
• Develop technical construction documents and details in a team environment
• Coordinate with discipline leads in architecture, interiors, and engineering
• Prepare 3D visualizations/renders, generate tables, and create reports on an ongoing basis
• Perform field site visits, field data collection efforts, geometry surveys, drawing/document management, etc

Key requirements:

• Associates degree in engineering/architecture/drafting from a technical institute or accredited curriculum
• 4+ years of experience as an AutoCAD/Revit draftsperson/modeler
• Ability to work on multiple projects under the guidance of project managers/engineers/lead designers
• Ability to read and understand construction documents such as drawings, sketches, 3d representations, etc
• Experience sharing CAD/BIM software best practices and staying current on all software updates
• LEED AP, WELL AP or other sustainable/resilient design credentials
