Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Corsicana, TX, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Level IV trauma background.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 14 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM overlap)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling
• 13-week contract
• EMR: MEDHOST-EDIS
• Parking available in front of the hospital

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Level IV Trauma experience required
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Scrubs must be any solid color
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
