Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Large acute care hospital experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
• Active RN license required
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• CCRN preferred

Required Skills

• Ventilator management
• IV insertion and management
• Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Telemetry monitoring
• Conscious sedation
• Pulmonary Artery (PA) Line management (required)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions
• Operate and interpret specialized ICU equipment and monitoring devices
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection prevention standards

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36-hour or 48-hour workweek options available

Preferred Experience

• Transplant patient care experience
• Experience in high-acuity critical care settings
