Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a clinical team that values your expertise while working in Kissimmee, FL. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical images and data of the heart and vascular system. Work in a unit equipped with GE imaging systems and EMRs including MacLab and Meditech.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State specific licensure for Florida when required.
• Cath Lab experience required. Candidates without Cath Lab experience will not be considered.
• Experience working in a hospital Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Experience with invasive cardiac procedures preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI preferred.
• Previous experience with MacLab and Meditech documentation preferred.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-19:00.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 in procedure rooms.
• Unit configuration: two Cath Lab rooms, one EP room, one hybrid room.
• Staffing: approximately 10 staff on unit; day shift staffed with RNs and techs; night coverage on call.
• Equipment: GE imaging systems.

As a Cath Lab Tech with this opportunity, you will contribute to a Joint Commission accredited acute care environment that provides comprehensive cardiovascular services, advanced stroke care, trauma services, and neonatal and maternity care. You will support physicians during invasive cardiac procedures and help maintain patient safety and high quality imaging.
