Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within the assigned Step Down unit scope of practice
• Follow hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care and practice
• Provide care to a diverse patient population within a 36-bed private treatment room unit
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
• Participate in ongoing staff development and education programs including BLS and ACLS

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Step Down (IMC/PCU/Stepdown) experience
• Strong cardiac experience and clinical proficiency
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Active ACLS certification
• Active BLS certification
• Active Michigan RN state license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity Step Down or PCU environment
