Mixed Unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg Position

Position/Specialty: Ren 7 Acute- PCU Ratios: 1:4 all shifts

Years of experience REQ: 2 year

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: Yes- every other, nightshift weekends are Friday and Saturday. Dayshift weekends are Saturday and Sunday.

Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH

Is on-call REQ? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed.

FLOAT UNITS: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation

Open to accommodating block schedule? No

Locals accepted: No local travelers 50 miles or less

Pending License accepted: No

RTO Restrictions: Greater than 7 days will require Management approval

Special Requirements:

• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient Diagnoses Renal, Urology and Vascular.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details CAPD and CBI
• Work Settings Telemetry - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias - Genitourinary/Renal Renal failure - IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Peripheral Line Care/Management - Medications Heparin Protocols preferred - Respiratory/Thoracic Nasal Cannula Non-invasive airway management
• Computerized Charting EPIC - preferred
