Staff Pharmacist

Ready for a change from traditional retail? We're hiring a Production Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy operation on a weekday evening schedule. This is a 13 week contract with strong potential to become a permanent position, offering a great opportunity to build long term stability in a fast paced environment.

Location: Sugarland, TX
Schedule: M-F; 2pm - 10pm
Pay: $65/hr - Weekly Pay

What You'll Do

Verify prescriptions and oversee the medication fulfillment process
Complete Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) to ensure safe and accurate dispensing
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations
Communicate with patients, prescribers, and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription issues
Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving and monitoring medications
Prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated and specialty medications
Document pharmacy activities accurately using LifeFile and PK Software

What We're Looking For

Active Texas Pharmacist license
At least 1 year of pharmacist experience
Comfortable working in a high volume production pharmacy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
