Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $2,248 per week in Wausau, WI

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Neuro RN in Wausau, Wisconsin, 54401!

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Neuro ICU setting, managing a population that includes stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
Perform thorough neurological assessments and monitor patients using ICP monitoring and EVDs
Assist with and manage bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation; participate in bolt and drain bedside placements with neurosurgery
Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and Med/Surg ICU units, with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
Document all patient care accurately using

EPIC (required)
Adapt independently to census-based scheduling adjustments, which may include working partial shifts of 4 or 8 hours as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN License required
BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong neuro assessment skills required
Proficiency in EPIC charting required
Preferred Experience / Skills
At least one prior travel assignment preferred
Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist is a plus
Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt well to change
