Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients requiring respiratory therapy in clinical settings.

• Document patient assessments and therapy plans with accurate, timely notes.

• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment per protocol.

• Maintain strict adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and ethics.

• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment and safety check procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Meet personal performance targets and contribute to overall department KPIs.

• Support and educate patients and families on respiratory care plans.

• Track therapy pipelines and forecast potential patient load and needs.

• Participate in on-site training and pursue ongoing professional development.

• Engage in continuous quality improvement projects to enhance patient care quality.

Experience/Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist license in applicable state.

• Clinical assessment, treatment, and documentation of respiratory therapies.

• Ability to monitor patient responses and adjust therapy per protocol.

• Proficiency with respiratory equipment and safety check procedures.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, ethics, and compliance.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.

• Forecast patient load using pipelines; meet department KPIs.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and on-site training.

• Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects.
