Aviation Project Manager

Project Manager – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) WSP is seeking a Project Manager to join our Aviation PM Team at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport office. Responsibilities Establish program requirements for assigned projects and ensure alignment across stakeholders Monitor and review draft and final deliverables for adherence to project requirements Track and follow up on applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and project commitments Represent the owner in negotiations related to scope, cost, schedule, and contract matters Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, risks, and action items Plan, direct, supervise, and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management, including key milestones and risks impacting cost or schedule Demonstrate a relentless focus on finding solutions, navigating challenges in a live operational environment, and driving issues to resolution to keep projects moving forward Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or similar designation 10+ years of construction and/or project management experience Proven experience operating in a project management or leadership capacity Ability to work independently and effectively in field environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of current technologies and tools used in project delivery Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening This role is subject to a client-mandated drug and alcohol testing policy, including random testing This position is contingent upon client approval Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management Experience managing construction in active/operational environments (e.g., airports or similar facilities) Familiarity with local municipalities, codes, and federal and state regulations Employees are also afforded a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
