Agile Scrum Master

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery for cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for championing Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling high-performing teams through effective collaboration between business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives Serve as a servant leader , removing impediments and enabling the team to achieve sprint goals Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed backlog Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup charts, sprint health) to stakeholders Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; proactively manage and elevate as needed Drive continuous improvement initiatives through actionable retrospective outcomes Collaborate with multiple teams in a scaled Agile environment to ensure alignment and delivery Support release planning and cross-team coordination Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly in regulated (BFSI) environments Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban; SAFe is a plus) Hands‑on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working with distributed (onshore/offshore) teams Strong problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and decision‑making abilities Experience in BFSI or regulated domains preferred Experience 10+ years of overall IT experience Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master Experience in BFSI or enterprise-scale Agile environments preferred Preferred Certifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) #J-18808-Ljbffr Veriipro
