Talent Acquisition Specialist

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a growing organization in the commerce and technology space. This is a great opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys high-volume hiring, sourcing, candidate screening, and working across a variety of corporate and technical positions.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join a busy Talent Acquisition team during a significant hiring surge. This role will support recruiting efforts across Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, with a particular focus on technical positions. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and experienced with reviewing resumes and conducting initial candidate screens.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter

• Review and evaluate a high volume of applications and resumes

• Conduct initial candidate screens using a standardized first-round screening process

• Coordinate and schedule interviews throughout the recruiting process

• Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely follow-up

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on open requisitions across multiple departments

• Provide light communication and coordination with hiring stakeholders during the early interview stages

• Support recruiting for both technical and non-technical positions

• Help manage a large applicant pipeline and prioritize candidates based on hiring needs

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience

• Experience reviewing resumes and conducting first-round candidate screens

• Sourcing experience preferred

• Strong ability to manage a high volume of candidates and open positions

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Strong communication and follow-through skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is preferred

• Experience recruiting for technical positions is a plus

Key Details

• Employment Type: Temporary Contract — minimum 2 months, with potential for longer-term extension

• Compensation: $28-30/hr based on experience 

• Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid
