Senior Project Manager – Structural SteelA well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex structural steel projects from contract award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel fabrication and erection and the ability to manage projects, customers, schedules, budgets, and internal teams.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced steel professional to take ownership of significant projects while working with a reputable contractor and a strong project backlog.ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel projects from contract award through final completionReview contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirementsDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsCoordinate with estimating, detailing, fabrication, procurement, field operations, and erection teamsServe as the primary point of contact for general contractors, owners, engineers, and other project stakeholdersManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationMonitor project costs, profitability, billing, and overall financial performanceCoordinate material procurement and fabrication schedulesIdentify and resolve project issues to keep work on schedule and within budgetConduct project meetings and provide regular project updatesEnsure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirementsMentor and provide leadership to project engineers and junior project managersQualifications7+ years of structural steel project management experienceStrong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erectionExperience managing projects from contract award through completionAbility to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specificationsStrong knowledge of steel fabrication, detailing, material procurement, and erection processesExperience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, and contractsStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExperience with project management software and Microsoft OfficeAISC experience preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonusStrong 401(k) matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesOpportunity to work for a reputable structural steel contractor with a strong backlog of projects
