Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - California Registered Nurse license - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications - 2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry experience Description: Registered Nurses in this position will provide care to patients in a telemetry unit. They will monitor patients for changes in cardiac rhythms and report findings appropriately. The role also includes blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates should have experience with central line care, managing heparin protocols, and non-invasive airway management. Nursing duties involve starting and maintaining IVs, administering oxygen, and postoperative care for cardiac procedures. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required. This position does not require on-call duties.
