Telemetry Technician

Your future role at a glance Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Facility : Ascension Alexian Brothers Department : Monitor Room Schedule : Night shift | PRN | 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Conduct continuous telemetry monitoring for patients requiring cardiac observation, ensuring accurate and timely surveillance. Analyze and communicate cardiac rhythm patterns, promptly identifying and reporting irregularities. Document rhythm changes and elevate significant findings to nursing staff and/or attending physicians for evaluation and interpretation. Maintain telemetry equipment functionality and manage related supply inventory. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. What additional requirements you'll need Minimum one year of experience strongly preferred.
