Salary: $81,997.50 per year


About the Role


The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by ensuring their medical needs are met safely, compassionately, and consistently. This is a hands-on clinical role focused on coordination, oversight, and advocacy-not bedside chaos or hospital burnout.
You'll work collaboratively with direct support staff, leadership, families, and external providers to promote health, independence, and quality of life for the individuals we support across Dutchess County.


What You'll Do

• Provide and oversee nursing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• ssess health needs and develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
• dminister and monitor medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Coordinate medical appointments, follow-ups, and specialist care
• Review and maintain accurate medical documentation and compliance records
• Educate and support direct care staff on health-related protocols and best practices
• Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with NYS regulations, agency policies, and best nursing practices

Experience We're Looking For

• Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• bility to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills-clear, calm, and professional
• Experience with IDD, community health, or care coordination is a plus (but not required)
