Physician Requisition ID req35964 Working Title Pediatric Emergency Physician Position Grade 93 Position Summary PRN Pediatric Emergency Physician will provide specialized medical services to patients at the UNM Pediatric EmergencyDepartment under the supervision of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division Chief, Tara L Neubrand, MD. See the Position Description for additional information. Conditions of Employment Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. May be subject to credentialing process; must maintain credentialed status, if applicable. Must maintain certification status. Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check. Must maintain certification and/or licensure status. Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement. CPR Certified. May be required to submit immunization records for review for required vaccines and TB testing. Minimum Qualifications Medical doctor; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty. Certification/Licensure: State of New Mexico and Federal DEA Certification; Medical Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
