Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical

Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM-11:30 PM

Requirements:
- License: New York registered nurse license required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required; travel experience required
- Certifications: BLS required; CNOR preferred (to be confirmed)
- EMR: Experience with EPIC required
- Skills: Phlebotomy and IV placement mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a surgical environment, including preoperative and postoperative assessments.
- Assist in surgical procedures as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress and manage care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives related to surgical nursing care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Background checks reviewed case-by-case.
- RTO: Minimal RTO allowed; cannot accept applicants with more than 10 days of RTO.
- Orientation modules to be completed prior to start; modules may be billable.
