Summary

• Full-time 3rd shift opportunity with a manufacturer of precision grinding products
• Read work orders, formulation sheets, and engineering drawings to prepare materials and products according to specifications
• Gather, weigh, and accurately mix abrasive materials and bonding agents according to established formulations
• Prepare, clean, fill, level, assemble, and press molds according to print and quality specifications
• Inspect tooling before and after use for defects or damage
• Load and operate furnaces according to required firing cycles and accurately document furnace levels and production information
• Inspect products before and after firing using scales, calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection techniques
• Clean, mask, grit blast, and prepare cores as required
• Safely epoxy-mount finished products to cores according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate time, material, and production records in manufacturing systems
• Support production and maintain customer quality requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders, formulation sheets, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Gather, weigh, and mix abrasive materials and bonding agents according to specified requirements
• Prepare, clean, fill, level, assemble, and press molds according to prints and quality specifications
• Inspect molds and tooling before and after use for defects, damage, or other issues
• Properly load furnace levels and operate required firing cycles
• Document furnace levels, firing information, and production data accurately
• Inspect products before and after firing using scales, calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection methods
• Clean, mask, grit blast, and prepare cores according to established procedures
• Safely epoxy-mount finished products to cores
• Accurately record time, materials, and production information in manufacturing systems
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Help ensure customer requirements and quality expectations are consistently met
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow work orders, formulation sheets, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and mix materials
• Ability to follow established manufacturing processes and safety procedures
• Ability to use or learn to use measuring tools such as scales, calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to regularly lift over 50 lbs. 
• Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including bending, stooping, and crouching, and standing for long periods of time
• Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
• High School Diploma or GED Required
