Service Consultant

Overall Summary

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.

Larson Hyundai is hiring a Service Advisor / Service Writer for a high-volume service department with steady workflow, loyal customers, and strong earning potential.

Commission Structure
• 4.75% of RO parts & labor sales (CSI below zone)
• 5.25% (CSI above zone)
• 5.5% (Top 10% CSI performance)

What You’ll Do
• Greet customers and write repair orders
• Schedule appointments and recommend maintenance services
• Communicate with technicians and keep jobs moving
• Provide updates throughout the repair process
• Manage multiple customers and RO’s efficiently
• Deliver a strong customer experience from start to finish
