The Warehouse Technician performs duties at the Shipping and Receiving Facility (SRF) to ensure we manage the assets and operations and complete required deliverables to support the customer's mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise wide. Responsibilities: You will perform all packaging and shipping processes for IT equipment, including shipments to remote and challenging overseas locations, adhering to customer and DoS. You are part of the logistics and warehouse staff (est 100 FTEs) and will conduct warehouse operations. Normal duty hours are from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, with the Government reserving the right to task with extended service hours (up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7)) in the case of an emergency, special project, increased workload, or other event. You will work with all necessary inventory systems and administration of the warehouse and contents. You will operate a Government-approved COTS inventory management software capable of real-time inventory levels, shipping status, automatic packing/inventory lists, and achieving efficiencies. You will also operate various courier, forklift and transportation services, including logistical support for domestic and overseas shipments, as well as transporting to/from various DoS facilities within the NCR.
