Our client, a premier manufacturer of high-quality power conversion solutions for mission-critical military and industrial sectors, is seeking an Engineering Test Specialist to join their team. As an Engineering Test Specialist, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Production and Design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Specialist
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Complete test setups, troubleshoot complex issues, collect data, and prepare technical recommendations for next steps.
• Operate thermal chambers and vibration tables to test ruggedized equipment for military and industrial readiness.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Review and analyze engineering data, customer specifications, and reports to determine testing requirements for high-voltage electrical systems.

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in an electronics test lab OR an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1+ year of experience.
• Equivalent military experience (such as Navy Nuclear Electronics Test Technician) is highly valued.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and meet eligibility for export-controlled data.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and government regulations.
• Ability to work full-time and travel up to 10% annually based on customer needs.
