JOB SUMMARY

As a key member of the Accounting function, the Junior Staff Accountant will execute a series of daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities to support daily transactional activity, month-end financial statement closings and our year-end financial statement review.  This team member will also support Accounts Payable and Billing teams with coverage as needed.  Lastly, this position will collaborate cross-functionally on special projects.  The Junior Staff Accountant will report to the Senior Staff Accountant.   This role requires an individual comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.  Lastly, this individual must be a proponent of the company’s culture with an emphasis on respect, integrity, communication and excellence.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

CAN PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF PROVEN, SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING KEY AREAS:

·       Daily bank reconciliations

·       Balance Sheet account reconciliations

·       Recurring journal entries and accruals       

·       Accounts Payable processing

·       Customer billing

EXPERIENCE OR EXPOSURE TO:

·       2-4 years entry level accounting experience

·       Knowledge of debits/credits, balance sheet, income statement and general accounting transactions

·       Intermediate to high MS Excel and other Office 365 skill set

·       Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
