TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in West Burlington, Iowa, 52655!

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification, GRH CPI/MOAB Must-Have: EPIC EMR Experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months Basic Dysrhythmia test out to be passed in the first week of assignment Description: The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test out will be given in the first week of the assignment. This test must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/medical-surgical unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to the following patient populations: geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. The estimated work week is 36 hours. Floating may be required to other units as necessary. If called in during low census, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Medical/surgical ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. ACLS certification is required. The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. Telemetry/mid-surg experience is essential for this role.
