Lawrence's Fish & Shrimp – Olympia Fields, IL Job DescriptionLawrence's Fish & Shrimp is excited to announce a fantastic job opportunity for a dedicated and energetic individual looking to join our team as a Restaurant Crew Member in Olympia Fields, IL. This part-time position offers the chance to be a part of a vibrant and friendly team, dedicated to providing outstanding food and service in a fast casual dining environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
- Operate cash registers and handle various types of payments
- Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints
- Assist in food preparation and packaging
- Comply with all food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Participate in inventory control and restocking of supplies
- Help in setting up and closing procedures of the restaurant
- Reliable, positive attitude and demonstrates honesty and integrity
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Respectful to both colleagues and customers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Adaptable and willing to fill multiple roles within the restaurant
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Experience in fast food or fried food environments is preferred
- Detail-oriented and professional demeanor
- Previous customer service experience in a similar role
- Must have reliable transportation
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years or older
Starting wage: $15.00 per hour
