Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting occupational health services through onsite employer events. This position performs a variety of clinical and occupational health services, including obtaining vital signs, conducting respirator fit testing and drug and alcohol testing, and performing blood draws when appropriately ordered. The Medical Assistant helps deliver efficient, high-quality care while ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and clinical excellence.Location: Must be flexible to cover employer onsites throughout Salinas, Hollister, King City, Soledad, Santa Maria, Templeton, Watsonville and Santa Cruz areasSchedule: PRN, as needed for employer onsite eventsCompensation: Starting compensation range is $22.00-$24.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.ResponsibilitiesObtain and accurately document patient vital signsPerform respirator fit testing in accordance with established protocolsConduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirementsPerform blood draws when appropriate orders are in placeSupport onsite occupational health services and client requests as neededMaintain proper documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standardsAdhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all timesPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of a Medical Assistant program required.Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.Minimum of two years of recent, hands-on blood draw experience required.Why You Should Join Our TeamAgile Occupational Medicine is a leading occupational medicine group with a network of 42 centers dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to businesses and their employees across California and Yuma, Arizona.
