Job Summary:
The infusion nursing profession in Crescent City, California, requires a Chemo Certified Infusion Registered Nurse to provide outpatient infusion services, including chemotherapy administration, patient education, and support. The role involves managing ports, administering various chemotherapeutic agents, and monitoring for side effects in adult patients. Candidates are required to bring their California Registered Nurse license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Crescent City, California
• Schedule: Days, 4/8s with an 8:00 AM shift start, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), Chemo Therapy Certification (ONS/ONCC), Epic charting experience preferred, 2 years of experience in infusion or oncology, 3 patient ratio experience, 7-year work history verification, must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing, COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital and Epic charting experience, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology infusion, be able to manage Ports, administer chemotherapy, and handle a variety of oncologic medications and side effects. Must meet travel requirements of 50 miles or local rate acceptance. All certifications must be current and in hand at the time of submittal. Prior background checks should be noted, and any DUI or background hits disclosed prior to submission. A 7-year work history verification is required.
