Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dependable, organized, and friendly Receptionist to join our team! If you enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply.
As the first point of contact for our facility, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Join our team and help us provide a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
SchedulePart-time
Monday–Friday
3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Perform reception and telephone duties, directing calls and messages appropriately.
Greet and assist visitors, guests, residents, salespeople, and other individuals entering the facility.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail as directed.
Assist with maintaining personnel records and organizing resident and bookkeeping records.
Type and prepare documents, reports, letters, and other correspondence.
Maintain updated lists of residents, emergency contact numbers, on-call personnel, and key staff.
Schedule meetings, conferences, and other appointments as directed by the Administrator.
Monitor and sell meal tickets as needed.
Assist with new employee orientation and other administrative duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Professional, friendly demeanor and the ability to work well with others.
