Senior ERP Business Analyst - Finance

Finance Systems Analyst – Oceanside, CA Salary Range: $108,700 – $133,900 USD (final compensation based on experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location) The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing ERP processes related to Finance, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in the successful implementation of IFS Cloud by ensuring accurate system configuration, supporting testing activities, and driving user adoption across the finance organization. Responsibilities Plan, design, and analyze processes and user requirements for development and/or support within finance functions Lead financial process design and ensure alignment with ERP system capabilities Work with cross-functional teams to define integration touchpoints impacting finance and validate financial data flows Review and analyze system problems to identify solutions or make referrals Offer advice on process improvements and technical solutions within finance Configure and support AR, AP, GL, and financial reporting modules in IFS Cloud Lead functional and regression testing for financial modules Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing within Finance Provide level 2 support and troubleshooting for ERP-related finance issues Support financial close processes (month-end, year-end) during implementation and post go‑live Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across sub‑ledgers and the general ledger Assist in developing training materials and maintain finance system documentation and user guides Lead train‑the‑trainer sessions for finance users Lead cross‑functional discussions between Finance, IT, and Operations Prioritize backlog items related to finance enhancements and support Help develop short‑ and long‑term plans for finance system improvements Create proof‑of‑concept (POC) scenarios for process and system validation Support audit requirements and ensure system controls comply with financial policies Test new finance‑related features and functionality in the ERP system Use tools for regression testing and financial data validation Become a subject matter expert in financial processes within the ERP system Qualifications & Requirements B.S. in Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field 3–6 years of experience in ERP support, business analysis, or manufacturing systems Strong understanding of accounting principles (AR, AP, GL, financial reporting) Experience configuring or supporting ERP financial modules Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Ability to create requirement documents for finance processes Ability to lead training sessions and interact with business stakeholders Experience with IFS Cloud or other ERP platforms Experience supporting ERP implementations or upgrades Experience with financial reporting tools and data reconciliation Knowledge of integrations impacting finance (billing, payments, inventory, etc.) Experience with audit processes and financial compliance Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Visio, etc.) Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus What’s in it for you?
