The Water Quality Association (WQA) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Reviewer to play a critical role in our internationally recognized Gold Seal Product Certification Program. In this position, you will serve as a technical expert, conducting advanced product evaluations, supporting certification activities, developing technical training, and helping manufacturers navigate industry standards.

What You'll Do

\n

As a Senior Technical Reviewer, you will:

\n

\n
• Conduct technical evaluations for products seeking certification under WQA's Gold Seal Product Certification Program, including new certifications, recertifications, and product revisions.
\n
• Review products against NSF/ANSI standards and determine compliance with certification requirements.
\n
• Analyze technical nonconformances, assess risk and impact, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
\n
• Serve as a technical resource for Product Certification, Business Development, Laboratory, and international teams.
\n
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for certification staff and other departments.
\n
• Create and maintain technical documentation, forms, SOPs, and related certification tools.
\n
• Lead customer training sessions on certification standards and certification processes.
\n
• Support operational goals by helping teams meet timelines, service expectations, and quality standards.
\n
• Assist with product failures, testing concerns, technical interpretations, and standards-related questions.
\n
• Develop standards interpretations and documentation supporting proposed changes to industry standards.
\n
• Represent WQA at industry meetings, conferences, webinars, and customer presentations.
\n
• Serve as a primary customer contact for technical certification matters when needed.
\n
• Conduct final reviews and certification decisions as authorized.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related natural science field.
\n
• 3-5 years of experience in the water treatment or water quality industry.
\n
• Knowledge of NSF/ANSI standards and product certification processes.
\n
• Experience working with quality systems and laboratory safety protocols.
\n
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Strong written, verbal, customer service, and presentation skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• 2-4 years of experience within a product certification, testing, or regulatory compliance environment.
\n
• Certified Water Specialist (CWS) designation.
\n
• Experience delivering technical training and presentations to diverse audiences.
\n
• Experience interpreting technical standards and regulatory requirements.
\n
